Hey there!! I am Trice, named that because I am Trice as nice as the rest... hey I'm a cat I am not great with grammar. I am however great at chatting, smooching and eating.
I'm a super-chilled 14 year old gentleman with a disposition as sweet as the love heart printed on my fur.
I am incredibly sociable, cuddly, playful and a big smooch. Love to sit right up next to my human and sleep on the bed all night. I like to be where my humans are and appreciate full body rubs from them.
My favourite toys include ribbons and paper.
I will suss out the sun puddles in my new home quickly as I like to plan my daily snooze schedule accordingly.
I tolerate dogs and small humans but would probably be better off with a quiet home.
My previous owners couldn't take me to their new place which is pretty rough for an older boy like me, but its okay because I know I will find my lovely forever home with someone.. perhaps is that with you??
Trice is on Cat Haven's Animal Support Program (ASP) for his hyperthyroidism ONLY. He is entitled to free vet checks at the Cat Haven clinic (including blood tests and urine tests, at our vets' discretion) as well as free hyperthyroid medication.
Trice has a severe heart murmur (grade 3). This murmur may possibly have adverse effects on his health in the future. Currently, he is not showing signs of heart failure.
Trice has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. He should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to his health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
