Cat Haven is a 7 day a week operation that has been rescuing and rehoming cats since 1961, taking in over 8,000 cats and kittens each year. Operating under the Getting to Zero model, our goal is to rescue and rehome as many cats as possible, ensuring they find loving forever homes.
Our employees are the lifeblood of our organisation, working across all areas including, cat welfare, foster, boarding, reception, clinic and admin. We are also supported by a large group of dedicated volunteers who assist us in everyday operations. Working at Cat Haven is both challenging and rewarding, whilst being amongst a like-minded team who are passionate about animal welfare.

As part of our recruitment process, to ensure we have the the right person for the job, we conduct interviews, medical assessments, and reference checks. All employees are also required to provide a current National Police Clearance Certificate (valid within 3 months). Employees must also provide evidence of full Australian working rights.
